"Just as Nanotechnology has the potential to send nano particles within the body system to seek out, and treat afflicted parts, Pranayam in Yoga sends Oxygen..."
Spiritual guru, and world-renowned proponent of the ancient Indian tradition of Yoga, Baba Ramdev, has now exalted the status of Yoga to nanotechnology...
Speaking on the topic, "Bridging the gap: Nanohealth", as part of the three-day summit on bio- and nano- technology organized by industry body, Assocham, the spiritual leader reportedly said that "using Yoga to treat a disease is just another example of using nanotechnology in medicine".
A man who has made a mark for his uncompromising stance on the virtues of Yoga, and who has been in the eye of many a controversy till date, reportedly said, "In Yoga, we use breathing techniques to treat a disease. This provides Oxygen to the affected parts of the body."
"Just as Nanotechnology has the potential to send nano particles within the body system to seek out, and treat afflicted parts, Pranayam in Yoga sends Oxygen to the remotest parts inside the body which need oxygen for cure."
Meanwhile, the other main panelist, Peter Grutter, professor of Physics at Canada's McGill University, and world leader in Nanotechnology research, lauded Swami Ramdev's use of Yoga in the curing of diseases.
Grutter said that from a philosophical point of view, and as a scientist himself, it was very interesting to know how Ramdev described curing diseases through Yoga.
The professor categorically said that there is no such thing as dogma in Science, and that Nanotechnology has to be evaluated to see what are its positive and negative effects.
In the end the good professor added that it is all about what society needs. "Do people want nano particles running in their body to cure some Cancer or do they not?" he said.
if he so great with yoga...why cant he cure his own eye first...it keeps flickering:P..he might have knowledge of yoga but he is not wot he pretends to be...cunning man...hypocrite
do you know that when he was small he had a paralytic attack which had a effect on his left side and just due to pranayam and yoga his paralysis has been cured
Hello Anti,
I am not sure how your name is pronounced but it sure looks like Anti-anything good. Keep open mind and possitive thinking. Always think it through before putting harsh wrods in print or out of your mouth. Good luck.
yoga has been a proven method to cure diseases, though it may not cure all types of diseases. one has to look at from the point of karma to understand why something is not cured yet or curable.
Anti -- that is pretty silly thing to say, typically, a knee jerk reaction of people who lack awareness but feel the urge to say something illiterate -- Ramdevji had a several physical problems as an infant, was medically given up all hope of survival, and had a stroke that crippled one side of his body completely, including the eye you refer to in that insensitive fashion of someone who obviously does not practice yoga. It was yoga which saved his life, gave him back the stamina he enjoys -- he sleeps just four hours daily, is 50 years old with the body of a youth and more energy than a youth-- it is clear you don't have as much gumption and experience in healing as he has, or his energy. That is clear, since u seem to waste it blathering about other people much greater (and more useful) than you
anti.. name itself shows negativity.
if u cant praise anything dont disgrace it. ramdev is a peson who has done atleast one good thing. the whole country has started waking up at time, have started doing physical exercise, have started taking care of them selves. and u like people will not see anything beyond ur bed.
Yes,Swami Ramdev has treated many through Yoga. He is on a mission he says. His Pranayam techniques are backed with scientific reasonings. He is going places...... wow
Anti, that is a typical knee-jerk reaction of illiterate people who nevertheless have the urge to say something, even if it is foolish or insensitive. Ramdevji, when an infant, had several medical problems, when the medical world had washed his hands off him. He had a stroke which crippled one side entirely, including the eye of which you speak so insensitively. It is courage and yogic practice which brought him out of it. His strenght comes from his experience. He is 50 year old, but with the body of a youth and more energy than several youth. Clearly you don't have any of these since u wish to waste it criticising people greater, more useful than u
