The PC and Mac versions will match their console counterparts and allow players to rip head-to-head against players across all gaming platforms.
Aspyr Media has announced that it's working on a Mac and PC version of the musical video game - Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
Being developed and published exclusively by Aspyr, the PC and Mac versions will match their console counterparts with fresh features including a multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, boss battles, unlockable content, online multiplayer mode, original artist recordings, and authentic rock venues.
Besides, the expanded online multiplayer game modes will allow players to rip head-to-head against players around the world and across either platform.
The game has a set list of more than 70 songs in the set list including: Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones; Cherub Rock by Smashing Pumpkins; Sabotage by Beastie Boys; The Metal by Tenacious D; My Name is Jonas by Weezer; Knights of Cydonia by Muse; Rock And Roll All Nite by Kiss; School's Out by Alice Cooper; Slow Ride by Fog Hat; Cult of Personality by Living Colour; Barracuda by Heart, and Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses, for players to choose from.
In addition, the game will also feature the former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses aka 'Slash' in cameo as a boss.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on PC and Mac is rated T for Teen by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
The game was originally announced in May this year, for the other gaming platforms including PlayStation 2 (PS2), PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii, scheduled to release at the end of this year.
