i have an airtel broadband connection 384kbps. They have given a ADSL2+ modem (Beetel) with a monthly rent of Rs. 99/=. My question is that if I buy this SP916GK wireless router, can I return the modem. I was told that routers have an inbuilt modem. my next question is that I have 2 desktop computers about 25 meters apart, one in ground floor and the other in the first floor with about 4 walls in between. Will this router support the wi-fi connection for both my systems at the said distance. If so, how and where can I purchase this unit and how soon can i get it?

Unfortunately, it is outdated technology. After Darft G series with 54 MBGPS, came G+ with 108MBPS and now Draft n series up to 300MBPS. SO!!!!!!!!!
