The second handset in it's Black Label series, LG claims the Shine is the only full metal bodied phone in the world.
Riding on the success of LG Chocolate, LG Electronics has announced the LG Shine in India.
The second handset in it's Black Label series, LG claims the Shine is the only full metal bodied phone in the world.
Available in a slider phone- and a bar phone- version, the Shine, when closed, sports a 2.2-inch mirror LCD screen, which when the phone is activated, transforms into a high quality color screen with the Shine keys reflecting a cool blue light.
The slider version is about 13.8mm thick while the bar phone version is around 9.9mm thick. The phone houses a 2 mega-pixel auto focus camera by Schneider Kreuznach, expandable memory (Micro SD card), and menu access via an easy-to-use multi-function scroll key.
Besides, the Shine comes with a comprehensive media player with multi-codec support (MP3, WAV, AAC & ACC++), and a real spectrum display.
It supports GPRS and EDGE network compatibility, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity.
The LG Shine slider phone is available for Rs 15,999 while the LG Shine bar phone is available for Rs 8,999.
It is a forward leap indeed. The discovery is commendable. It has kept the common man at ease. The question is what is the affordability factor. Is the instrument is in the access of comman man?
