Zapak.com has launched a new game, 'CASH Back', based on the movie 'CASH' just released in theaters today.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha of 'Dus' fame, 'CASH' is about 3 diamonds, two gangs of thieves, and one big heist that spins-off into a battle for the ultimate prize, namely, CASH.
'CASH' has agent Shania guarding a Government of India convoy transporting a valuable cargo across South Africa. A gang of robbers, led by Karan, succeeds in carrying out the heist. But Karan also happens to be Shania's boyfriend, but by the time he realizes he has stolen from his own girlfriend, the damage has been done. Now Karan and his thieving cronies must steal back the diamond from a South African don, and return it to the Indian embassy.
Meanwhile, Zapak's game, 'CASH Back', is a racing game that has players steering the streetluge with left and right arrow keys, and accelerating with 'A'. The sole motive is to collect all the diamonds, and whizz past to the end. Top ten scorers stand to win music CDs, and tickets to the movie, 'CASH'.
Anubhav Sinha, director of 'CASH', said, "We are slowly but definitively moving towards an entertainment eco-system, where it is becoming extremely important to engage the target audience of a film through multiple exposures across diverse media platforms. Structuring a promotional deal around 'CASH' with Zapak is a win-win situation for both."
Rohit Sharma, chief operating officer of Zapak Digital Entertainment, said, "A movie needs to befit the game which is being made on it. 'CASH' is an action-oriented flick and hence merited a racing game. The game 'CASH Back' is a unique chase-cum-hunt racing game, with a choice of three racing tracks, where the player has to collect diamonds while steering the streetluge, and reach his destination in record time."
