Unistal Pack with Every Wipro PC

In a bid to help customers protect data, Wipro has signed a deal with Unistal, a provider of data recovery products and services, for the latter's 5-in-1 pack.
Under the deal, the 5-in-1 pack, comprising softwares such as Crash Proof, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Restore, PC Reporter, and Data Wipe; will be bundled at OEM level with every Wipro PC.
According to Alok Gupta, director of marketing with Unistal Systems, "The 5-in-1 integrated combo package for Wipro PCs makes them the most secure personal computers in the industry."
Crash Proof can recover accidentally deleted files, and missing and lost files that are fragmented. In addition, it can unformat accidentally formatted hard drives, and retrieve lost files along with their original names and locations.
The Kaspersky anti-virus will monitor all sources of potential virus infection on PCs. The OfficeGuard technology protects all Microsoft Office applications; while data in virus infected files is restored using anti-virus software.
The Restore software in the 5-in-1 pack comes into play when operating systems or applications fail to start. The software takes regular images of the system automatically, and can therefore restore it with latest settings and data. Also, it is capable of repairing registry problems, and supports multiple hard disks attached to the system.
PC Reporter, a pre-failure warning and asset tagging software, alerts a user as and when the hard disk begins to show early pre-failure signs.
It alerts users about changes in hardware, application, or system settings, and keeps check on system inventory, hard disk SMART parameters, hard disk temperature variation graphs, etc.
The fifth software in the pack, Data Wipe, is a guaranteed file eraser that wipes out data from the actual sector, making it unrecoverable by any means. Users can select files, folders, drives, unused area, Internet history, etc that they wish to wipe out.
Data Wipe also wipes out data from external drives, and can be password-protected to prevent unauthorized use.
