A new portal dubbed www.honeybeeindia.com has been launched, which promises to offer loans and financial consultation to customers for free.

A bank neutral portal, www.honeybeeindia.com will offer personal loans, home loans, mortgage, and credit card services, among others.

The developers of the Web site claim it is easy-to-use and has tools and features that help customers compare financial services online and choose what suits them the most. Some of the tools featured include: comparative chart, select and compare interest, loan amount calculator, and EMI calculator.

The portal also boasts utilities for Indians residing within and outside of India such as application forms, eligibility criteria, etc.

The people behind the site claim that all dealings will be transparent, fair, and impartial. And that customer information will not be compromised at any cost.

Apparently, the revenue for the portal comes from charges paid by lending institutions. Hence, the services would come free for customers.

Commenting on the portal, S Nagarajan, managing director of honeybee eSolutions, said, "The idea is to help customers with the right information at the right time, hence allowing them to take a well informed and well researched decision on their loan matters. We also offer value added services like loan counseling over phone and online."

Apart from online services, the site promises offline help. For instance, customers can dial 044-42641001 to avail end-to-end services.

I have visited honeybeeindia.com and found very unique and incomparable. The other related sites which are in the market doesnt serve the purpose. It is really wonderful to the comparative charts of many banks and their emi and loan amount calculation is really superb. Hats off honeybeeindia
