Cable
Usually, headphones come with a slightly short cable, which causes them to fall off due to the constant tugging. For the EP-630, Creative hasn't been so miserly in this department, they've tailed along a 1.25 meter cable with their product. This length is long enough not to pull at the headphones with regular body movement; at the same time, it is short enough not to get in the way while you're out and about.
Plugs

You get three sets of rubber plugs with the headphones, so you should be able to find a set that is a perfect match for your ears comfort-wise. I found the medium size set to be perfect for me with which I was able to use EP-630 for several hours without my ears aching. Although, headphones like this do take a bit of getting used to, since you feel a kind of pressure at first, like you're under water; but if you can get past that, you'll never look back.
Sound
Sound quality of these headphones is great. When compared, Bose provides clear sound whilst cutting out most of the background noise, whereas EP-630 produce a far fuller sound envelope. This happens with the help of the 9mm Neodymium magnet transducers packed inside them. After listening to the bass on EP-630, which was great, the same on the Bose in-ear headset felt quite ordinary. Ever since I've begun using Creative's EP-630 headphones, I've found that my iRiver can be set to a far lower volume setting giving me clear sound output and the background noise almost non existent. The music feels like it's being injected straight into my brain!

Even when I use these headphones with our Sony PSP, the results are first rate. But coupled with iRiver, it's a match made in heaven - I get great sound quality, plus everything's light enough to carry around with ease. The annoying part with the Bose earphones was that you'd have to take its carry case along with you, which is quite troublesome.
Verdict
As I mentioned earlier, Creative's EP-630 are way cheaper than Bose (Rs.5600 approximately). At an MRP of Rs. 1280 with a 1 year warranty, EP-630 are value for money. The market price is supposed to have dropped considerably for this pair to as low as Rs. 850. If you're looking for a good upgrade for the bundled headphones that came with your MP3 player, this is a great choice.
