I AM REALLY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE OF ACER. IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY SERVICE CENTRE AT HYDERABAD. COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME ANY SERVICE CENTRE NEAR HYDERABAD/SECUNDERABAD OR ANDHRA PRADESH REGION.
i am really unhappy with acer service.it doesn,t have any service centre at pune.could you please tell me any service centre near pune or in mumbai region
Announced cost of 19999 ia deceptive catch.Actually the actual cost after rebate is Rs. 23500 add. 4000 for the windows & 2000 for adequate RAM & it becomes a 30k laptop. n US they R giving away Celeron lappys $ 400 with windows vista !!
We dint need dat Fcukin new brand ambassador dey payed him millions now dey wil abstract it from buyers so recently wen price of other brands hav fallen Acer is stil selling at old prices! dats bad news!
Guys, go for Acer if and only if you need a cheap laptop for 2-3 months. I got an Acer Aspire 1640, first month the screen went, took a month to repair it, then 2 months later it went again.
6 months down the line, the motherboard stopped working, Acer kept it for 3 months then returned it telling me it will cost 16k to repair it!!!!!!!!
I dont have a problem with the quality of Acer laptops. However their service is really bad. My hard disk crashed and they did not have a stock of disks in Calcutta. They had to get it from Bangalore or Delhi and that took ages. The problem is compounded by the lack of Acer's own repair center. All the three repair agents in Calcutta are from third parties (including the Acer Mall on Elgin Road) who have major coordination problems with the Acer head office. I am not sure if even casual users are ok with a week to a month downtime. So while I think Acer products are ok in terms of quality, because of their really poor support backup, I am staying away from Acer products in future.
Who verifies whether messages posted like this one are from real users. They may be competitors willing to bring down a brand. As more and more people are refering to web before buying a product, I only wonder how much can we trust such review and comments !!!
