    HP Bluetooth PC Card Mouse

Frazier Barretto, Jun 14, 2007 1900 hrs IST

After long workout sessions, this mouse has finally lost the flab; enough to complement your notebook wirelessly. Slim could be nice, probably this went the anorexic lane.

    Innovative Design, PCMCIA charging.

No scroll, Bad ergonomics, Lack of Accuracy, Expensive.

As the name suggests, the mouse that we have with us today is a Bluetooth mouse. It is meant to be used with laptops as it slots into the PCMCIA card slot of the laptop. It is relatively thin and doesn't look like a standard mouse from any angle; technological or biological. We have come across varied weird looking mice, but none so thin. Let's keep the adjectives aside and scrutinize this laptop accessory.

I disagree with the review. Yes, a scroll option would have been nice, but if you're "leaning" on a mouse while working, you are not at a correct working position. This will most likely make you prone to develop RSI. This design, if used correctly, allows you to let your hand stay in a naturally curved position. I like this product. I'm not linked to HP in any way.

Hi, I think we need to look at it as a product of innovation. Believe me i have bought one & using it too. Its amazing & really does its bit & removes the hazzles of a wired mouse. There is nothing to feel weird aboyt its looks when performance matters. Like a new car design in the market I am sure after this every other Manufacturer will start following HP. As the word goes " Only the winner is followed"

You are kidding me ! Which stupid manufacturer will follow this design ? It costs so much, it has pathetic ergonomics and you get far cheaper wireless mice which actually have a scroll wheel.

Hi,Dont think this device would be compatible with the latest notbeooks as they come with a Express card slot, can be used as only on Systems using PCMCIA card slot.Too late to showcase this product, would say HP has failed to compete with the latest technology:(

True, it is definitely a product of innovation (but at what cost) - I am currently using Microsoft's wireless Keyboard and Mouse (optical and looks cute) and am quite satisfied with its performance. Of course its range is just about 6 feet, but hey - who's gonna need 10 m range. And this thing (both multimedia Keyboard and the Mouse) just costed me just 1500/- bucks...
