Design
The earphones, as mentioned previously, are very well designed. They come with silicon ear buds/plugs that very neatly fit into your ear canals, similar to the Samsung Ypk5 headsets. These are very comfortable in your ears and you can keep them hooked for hours without irritation or pain. The silicon earplugs are soft and come in different sizes: small, medium and large, in black and white.

The headphones come with a black leather case with a magnetic flap, which is designed to perfectly place the headsets. The case is a necessity, as without those you will end up losing the silicon plugs, which keep falling regularly. This is a major con with the headsets as the silicon plugs are very loosely fixed and one could end up losing them easily. The headphones comprise of a 3.5 mm gold plated plug. The earplugs gather dust very easily and getting it off is a hassle.
Sound Quality
If you can ignore the price for a moment, the headphones are a definitely worth owning for their sound quality. I tested them on my iPod and a Zen Vision for movies. They sound great even at max volume without any signs of distortion. They won't blow your eardrums off but even at maximum volume they are clear and loud enough. Music needs to be clear and not loud, Bose offers just this: the maximum volume is good enough for you to enjoy, plus it won't tell the guy next to you, what you are listening to.

The bass effect is extremely good and makes your Hip-Hop collection come to life. Watching movies is a great experience on a PMP. Due to the high bass, your movie experience is further enhanced. There is one problem though, even though the earplugs are channeled into your ear canals, they don't reduce outside noise. That can be quite a problem and hinder your music experience. But as for the music quality, this is as good as it gets.
