Hi guys, i want to buy a music oriented phone, can anybody suggest me the which one is best for me w610i or w810i. Does any of these have stereo widening like nokia music express phones?

sony's mobiles are not so cool as like as nokia.

I am a frequent Mobile changer and have changed some 6 mobiles within last 1 and Half years. I have used 6600's, Sony Ericssion w700i 's and now using N70. Among these i have found W700i to be the best among its price band. Can anybody suggest me any phone better than W700i which has greater Sound speaper quality like N70, better Camera quality for zooming pictures quality as good as Nokia 6300 and bigger screen type. These are the 3 added feature i am looking into Walkman Series phones of Sony Ericssion in addition to the features which W700i posses.

well this phone and n95 and n73 are just a shit and rubbish now mobiles with 7 speakers are coming for less than 10000 with absolutely superve sound quality

Phone has software problem.No button is working except down scroll button and when i press this button shutdown option is coming....

Useless phone, keys 4 & 6 keep sticking! The thing also keeps freezing, (its quicker to call than text on this thing!) & the player is extremely slow. Please, dont get this phone!

I am thinking about buying a new phone, which one should I get? W810i or W610i..taking everything into account...features, price etc.

I upgraded to the W610i beacause my prevoius Walkman phone was playing my MP3s very slowly. However, this new one is also doing it. The phone shop suggested inputting the music without the Dics-2-Phone, so I did it thru Windows Media Player, and lo and behold, still playing slow. Sometimes it picks up after being switched off, but then returns to slow. This is driving me mad! Anyone else noticed similar problems or know what might be wrong? Cheers, R

Of W-610i- I quote you ?The FM tuner of the W610i is quite nice. There isn't much to say here except that the reception was pretty clear while being on the move-It's a Walkman phone and like any other Walkman, this too has a great sound output; earplugs as well as its speaker. The earplugs are actually what put the Walkman a step ahead of other music phones. The sound is crisp and there are no signs of the sound cracking at top volume. Compared to the W810i, I'd say its sound quality is at par with the W850i. The speaker of the phone is loud, much louder than previous Walkmans. It is loud and doesn't crack, but don't use it a lot as for that there are portable speakers bundled along. These speakers are really good; This fone has 4 Stars rating. Whereas in your own review Motorola ROKR Z6 has been given 4 stars in rating -same as SE W-610i. This i think is unfair- like putting cheese & chalk in same category- this According to you ?The quality of sound in Motorola ROKR Z6 is average; the standard earphones are also very basic and come nowhere close to the sound quality of the Walkman phones. There is no FM tuner for the phone? As also camera The images produced were blurry and grainy as well. The images shot at night were bad even with the flash on.?this phone has 4 Stars? The rating system seems rather skewed and confused. Good & not so good have same rating !! Surely W-610i deserves a higher rating.

i heard that this phone has a disadvantage that you can't zoom while taking pictures in normal mode and you have to shift to vga mode for zooming. Is it true?????

Im on my SECOND W610i and it has major problems with the keys 4 and 6 when typing messages! Sony Ericsson is not a good brand.

i think its a better phone for those who planned to purchase a phone in a average price.. ireally liked it...

looks much like the w810i i am using. i love SE but this 1 i'll pass. the buttons look small. the w810i has the advantage memory stick duo which is cheaper and has more memory
