Performance
The benchmark scores don't clearly mark the Palit X1950Pro Super as a clear winner, but it does give a good AA and AF performance, atleast better than most of the others it has been compared to. It provides more than enough frame rate to smoothly play your favorite games at resolutions of 1280*1024 and higher.
Good show from Palit indeed.
Overclocking
We tried overclocking the Palit X1950Pro Super but couldn't really manage much, just a few points up from the default score. After a few tries the GPU throttled and gave a score lower than the one at default settings. The memory just refused to budge from the standard 1380 MHz mark. No overclocking this one. I guess the Qimoda memory chips with a 1400 MHz peak frequency are the reason behind it. Anyway, given the performance in the current games and benchmarks, you won't need to overclock it to play most of the future games (the ones releasing in 2007) as well.

Conclusion
The Palit X1950Pro Super is available for Rs. 11500 with a 3-year warranty. For that price and performance and the fact that you get 512 MB graphics memory, it's a great buy. Although it's just a little more expensive (1000 rupees) than the Asus EAX1650XT we reviewed some days back, it sure gives a massive boost in performance.
Also, the competing Geforce 7900GS from Nvidia doesn't really match the performance or , in some cases, the price as well. Clearly the X1950Pro Super from Palit is a much better choice indeed.
Overall, the Palit X1950Pro Super offers good value for money, considering the price/performance ratio being higher than most cards available in the market today.
