The nominees for each category have been short-listed by an industry panel of film experts. The voting will be managed and monitored by Price Waterhouse Coopers. Fans from India and across the globe can vote online for their favorite movies and performers of the year on www.in.msn.com.
Speaking on the initiative, Krishna Prasad, Executive Producer of MSN India said, "The IIFA Awards is the only event that allows viewers from across the world to decide the best performances in Indian Cinema, and we are excited to bring this to fans around the globe. We are proud to extend our support to IIFA in promoting India Cinema globally."
This year, IIFA Awards have an apt global theme, "to control global warming," and are associated with Global Cool, an organization that champions this cause.
