Transcend has announced the release of its JetRam 1GB/2GB DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered memory kit.
Transcend has announced the release of its 1GB/2GB memory kit of high-speed DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM.
The company said that Transcend's JetRam memory module measures only 1.18 inches in height, and it is the best choice for Windows Vista memory upgrade.
It is also learnt that Transcend's dual channel memory kit can enhance the overall performance of a desktop computer system that equips chipsets such as Intel's Pentium D, Core 2, and Core 2 Duo series, AMD's AM2 Sempron, Athlon 64, and Athlon 64x2 series solutions.
Transcend's JetRam 1GB/2GB DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered kits are engineered using top-quality DDR2 FBGA chips. The six-layer PCBs used in these modules are designed to meet JEDEC standard by minimizing noise and enhancing overall performance.
In addition, DDR2 memory chips incorporate On-Die Termination (ODT) to minimize signal reflections at higher speeds, thereby improving timing margins, which increase operating speeds.
According to a Transcend official, Transcend's superior design results in better system stability and reliability, making their 1GB/2GB DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered kit the best choice when it comes to upgrading any system's memory. Their memory modules come with a lifetime warranty and a global service network, which provides a cost-effective solution that ensures the highest stability and reliability for any computing systems.
While Transcend's JetRam 1GB DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered kit is available in India at a maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs 5,000, there is no word on the availability and pricing of the 2GB kit.
