I had bought a canon A 470 and have been using it for the last 3 years. Of late I fand the the battery drains very fast and could not use it for taking 10 photos although I changed to new battreies . I noticed especially that after fully charging if the camera is not used for a couple days the battery drains its all power and shows as " change batteries." The same camera was used for as much as taking 150 to 200 photos in one charge. I have tried with diffrent chargers as well with my DURACELL one hour charger with the same result of fast draining. In this way I may have to carry a dozen fully charged battries in my outings. The same problem I noticed with my friend who has canon A590. The camera will be useless to me with only 8 to 10 photos capacity on one charging. There is no point in new camera for such silly errors. Hope you will find a solution to this problem and suggest ways to make the camera workable in old manner. Thanking you, P.E.P.Swamy
