No matter how much we try to conserve the storage space, we always run out of it in just a matter of days, don't we? What makes it even worse is our laziness or the lack of resources to burn our files on discs. But I'm not here to give a discourse on how to use your comp. No way.

If you have a small network of PCs (at home or office), it makes sense to dump most of the data on a single shared drive and use it anytime. The Maxtor Shared Storage allows you to do just that.

It measures a wholesome 5.4 x 3.9 x 8.5 inches (136 x 65 x 217 mm) and weighs about 2.72 kg. It comprises of two SATA II (STM310004SDABOG-RK/N01R010) 7200 RPM hard drives that form a 16 MB Cache Buffer. It provides one 10/100/1000 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port and two (2) USB 2.0 ports for expansion (including USB printers and external hard drives.)
