With the ongoing CAS vs DTH war, Delhi-based Challanger Computers has reportedly become the second distributor of Dish TV in the Delhi region.
Challanger Computers, which claims to be the only distributor of Dish TV after HCL in the entire region, recently opened a new showroom exclusively for Dish TV at Vikas Marg in New Delhi.
On this occasion, Manoj Gupta, Managing Director of Challanger Computers, said they are the only distributors of Dish TV after HCL in Delhi, and that it is a challenge for them to compete with the big company, though they stand nowhere in front of it.
Gupta pointed out that with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) passing orders to shift to digital television broadcasting, it was the right time to start a business in this segment.
The all new Challanger showroom is managed by 25 people, and provides all kinds of services, including installation and after-sales support.
Gupta pointed out that there has been a sharp rise in demand for Dish TV in Delhi, and that they are even out of stock at times.
I am in bombay, quite satisifed with Dish TV..its better than Tata Sky in no. of channels we get..Dish also keeps coming with a variety of packages for their subscribers..their latest being..watching TV on computers!..can someone give some more information on it...?
