PDF Download
PDF Download is a Firefox extension that solves the problems everyone has about handling PDF files with Firefox. PDF Download is not a PDF plugin: you still need to have Adobe or the FoxIt PDF plugin if you want to open a PDF inside Firefox.

This extension is useful for example when you don't know the size of the pdf file you want to view. In this case, if you load the pdf file directly in your browser you need to wait for a lot of time in order to load Adobe or whatever PDF plug-in, download the file, and then view the file. Using PDF Download, instead, you can see the file size in the dialog box that appears just after you click on a PDF link and then choose to download the file, open it, or to view it as an HTML page.

Adblock Plus
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them. Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again. Or click Adblock Plus icon in the toolbar to see all elements of the page and block the banners. You can use filters with wildcards or even regular expressions to block complete banner factories.

This extension is a must for your browser. Websites open faster than before. And no ads seriously.

Well this is, as I stated before, an amazing line-up of extensions (hope you all agree with me.) There will most likely be a third article to compile any other worthy extensions; so, if you feel you know of any other extension worth mentioning, please do so.
