Nokia E62 (Rs. 16,700)

The Nokia E62 is another business oriented phone from Nokia. This one sports a QWERTY keypad. The phone is based on the same Symbian OS 9.1 OS and is quite a stable OS. It is little overweight at 144 grams, but that won't keep businessmen from buying this. Businessmen who prefer doing all their mailing and texting on-the-move will find this the most ideal phone. The phone comes with an in-built memory of 80 MB and a miniSD card slot. Most PDAs support miniSD cards; so, your investment of a high capacity card purchased previously won't go waste. This phone has EDGE connectivity as well. You can even connect to your printer and print data via Bluetooth i.e. only if your printer is Bluetooth enabled. Oh, didn't I mention it was a business phone? I did; hence, no camera. The phone has an exceptional battery life of more than 5 hours of talktime and standby time of 4 days. The phone is an offspring of the E61 so for more business functionality the E61 is a better choice, but doesn't fall in this price range.
Nokia N72 (Rs. 15,700)

The first of the "N Series" phones to feature in the set of mobile buying guides; the N72. From the N series phones, this is the cheapest. This phone looks smart and is not all that heavy compared to other N Series phones. The phone has a RS-DV-MMC card slot and a 128 MB card is included in the package. EDGE, Bluetooth v2.0, and a 2 MP camera are the special features in the N72. The camera has a flash and records videos in CIF format. The phone has an MP3/MP4 player and an FM tuner for entertainment. The phone runs on Symbian OS 8.1 OS and has a battery life of around 2-3 hours of talktime.
If you wish for a 3G version from the N Series and are willing to pay a couple of thousands more then the N70 is your choice.
