The tray icon can be used to switch between the desktop and also offers various functions including changing the preferences.

One can even specify different background images to be displayed on different desktops. Each desktop can be assigned a global hotkey. Optionally, you can have an OSD (On Screen Display) window appear whenever you switch desktop, displaying the name of the activated desktop. The OSD appearance can be fully configured.

One can drag and drop stuff from one desktop to another also. The interface is very simple and easy to use. Along with Virtual desktop function, one can also customize the windows with translucent windows. This software is all about making your working as efficient as possible, especially, when working with multiple windows.
It has loads of features such as saving desktop which remembers the position of your window and the desktop it is loaded in. So, next time, when one resumes one's work, he/she will get the exact state of working he/she was on previously.

Ever since, I found this software, I got a bit efficient at working since, my windows got organized. Now, in one desktop, I can load the browser, the other desktop will have all my image-editing software loaded, and the next desktop will have MS Word, Outlook, and media player playing in the background. Now, it is really difficult to work on a PC without this software. So, if you are a user who works with multiple applications on a PC, you are bound to fall in love with this software.

In the comming days, I will also look into some free alternatives such as Dexpot, Litestep and Microsoft's Powertoys Desktop Manager.

hello, i am running win 7, with the background shuffle on. i am a photographer, so i like to have my desktop image shuffled every minute. but with this software loaded, win 7 refuses to shuffle the desktop image. is there a fix for this?
