Bose India has announced three headphones: QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling; Bose On-Ear; and Bose In-Ear Headphones.
Bose India, keeping up to its tradition of offering products in line with customer demands without compromising on the audio quality, has announced the launch of its three headphones.
Expanding its existing range of Personal Audio Products, Bose has introduced the new 'QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones', 'Bose On-Ear Headphones', and 'Bose In-Ear Headphones'.
According to Bose, the new QuietComfort 3 (QC3) Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones offer the same audio performance, noise reduction, and comfortable fit found in the acclaimed QuietComfort 2 (QC2) Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones, but only in much smaller and more portable on-ear design.
The QC3 headphone has been designed on a noise reduction technology for mission-critical military applications and private and commercial pilots around the world, and has an entirely new kind of ear cushion that delivers superior comfort while also functioning as an acoustic component. And with the QC3, the customer has a choice between an around ear design of QC2, and the on-ear design of the QC3.
The Bose On-Ear Headphones features a collapsible headband for increased portability and earcups that fold-flat for easy storage in a small carrying case. These headphones utilize an enhanced electro-acoustic design to offer audio performance with lifelike clarity and range.
Besides, a new, Bose-designed ear cushion employs a soft outer coating that conforms to the listener's ear, allowing the headphones to remain on the ear for hours. The effective seal of the cushion to the ear, along with a proprietary TriPort acoustic headphone structure, enables the headphones to deliver rich audio with deep low notes not commonly found in conventional on ear headphones.
The Bose In-Ear Headphones deliver high-quality audio while providing a comfortable and stable fit. These headphones employ an electro-acoustic design and a uniquely designed silicone ear tip to deliver full, lifelike sound. The Bose proprietary TriPort acoustic headphone structure enables these headphones to reproduce deep, low notes without increasing headphone size.
Ergonomically designed for long-term listening, the Bose In-Ear headphones rest gently in the natural bowl of the ear, providing just enough contact to secure the headphones in place. And this increased level of stability withstands almost any daily activity, from exercise to commuting.
Speaking on the occasion, Ratish Pandey, General Manager, Bose India, said, "Bose has always taken the pride in constantly innovating and providing a legacy of great performance. All the latest headphones that we are introducing represent our design intent, as well as our commitment to research."
Meanwhile, all the three headphones will be available tomorrow onwards at the Bose retail stores, or can be ordered on the net at www.boseindia.com.
The headphones are priced as QC3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones at Rs 18,900 plus taxes; Bose On-Ear Headphones at Rs 8,200 plus taxes; and Bose In-Ear Headphones at Rs 5,000 plus taxes.

please checkout www.head-fi.com or www.headphone.com for expert opinions and objective analysis on which headphones are good and which ones are sheer hype. The genereal consenses is that bose headphones are absolutely atrocious. The bose in-ear phones however seem to be getting some good reviews.
Wrong. Senheizer headphones are far better than these Bose one. Infact Audiophille grade states BOSE as 'Buy Other Sound Equipment'. Nowadays most of the good music brands like NAD,Wherfedale,B&W,Jamo,KEF,Polk Audio,Dynaaudio,Denon to name a few are available in India.
