    Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has released three motherboards geared for the new Intel Core2 Quad processors.

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has released three motherboards geared for the new Intel Core2 Quad processors.

The ECS quad-core motherboards include the PN2 SLI2+, a 'must-have' for gamers and enthusiasts; the PX1, a quiet and powerful entertainment-focused solution; and the P965T-A, the best cost for performance quad-core solution available.

The first motherboard, the PX1, supports Intel Viiv technology, dual-channel DDR2 800/667/533, and features ECS Cooltech technology-Heat pipe design, PCI-E graphics interface, Dual Gigabit LAN network, SATA 3Gb/s connection, and 8 channels Intel high definition audio that enable premium home theatre experience through the PC, with support for all major audio formats.

The PX1 also supports ATI Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire and the latest 1066MHz front side bus Intel Pentium 4 CPU, doubles the bandwidth of the system memory up to 12.8GB/s, and pumps up system performance, delivers up to a 4x increase in graphics and 2x I/O bandwidth for smooth multimedia performance, and delivers transfer speeds up to 480Mb/s for easy connectivity and ultra-fast data transfers.

The PN2 SLI2+ motherboard integrates the newest Nvidia nForce 680iSLI chipset, features Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Extreme processor support and the third SLI slot, which brings the most outstanding performance to gaming enthusiasts. It supports the latest 1333MHz front side bus Intel Pentium 4 CPU, a high transfer rate up to 1 Gigabit, and LGA775 Intel Pentium 4 Processor with HT technology.

This motherboard has 64bit support that allows platforms to access more memory and larger files, doubles the bandwidth of the system memory up to 12.8GB/s and pumps up the system performance, and has 8-channel high definition audio.

And finally, the P965T-A motherboard supports dual-channel DDR2 800/667/533, and features PCI-E graphics interface, ECS unique S.D.G.E design (Scalable Dual Graphic Engines, SATA 3Gb/s connection, 8 channels Intel high definition audio and Gigabit LAN network supporting a high transfer rate up to 1Gb/s.

The P965T-A also supports ATI Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire and the latest 1066MHz front side bus Intel Pentium 4 CPU, and has PCI Express that delivers up to a 4x increase in graphics and 2x I/O bandwidth for smooth multimedia performance.
