BenQ has introduced new DLP Projectors in the country under DGS&D (Directorate General for Supplies & Disposals) rates.

The new models "CP220" and "MP611" are now registered under the prestigious DGS&D - Central Purchase and Quality Assurance Organisation of the Government of India, Department of Supply, and the Ministry of Commerce.

Commenting on the launch, Max Hsu, Business Head of the DMG group at BenQ, said, "We offer products that help deliver more enjoyment to our customers. Registration with DGS&D will help increase the bandwidth of customers, and truly allow them to enjoy our products. Both our projectors offer high quality visuals for work and play. Professionals in today's busy world can just unplug and our projectors are ready to go for the next meeting."

The CP220 is targeted at mobile customers or professionals such as architects, consultants who are on the move to meet their clients. It displays native resolution of XGA 1024X768 pixels, and according to BenQ, is ideal for presenting materials like Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and other such.

The CP220 has a brightness of 2200 ANSI lumens, which makes presentations easily viewable even in brightly lit rooms. The projector weighs just 1.8 kgs and comes with a lamp life of 4000 hours (normal/economic mode), which is equivalent to five hours of daily use for a year and a half.

The MP611 is a multi-purpose projector meant for both work and play. It can be used by professional for presentations as well as by home users. Displaying a native resolution of SVGA 800X600 pixels, the MP611 is ideal for general and business presentations comprising pie charts, graphs, and other geometric figures.

This projector has been designed keeping in mind that every presentation or movie doesn't enjoy the benefit of a pitch-dark room. Therefore, MP611 features a powerful 2400-lumen lamp that ensures a bright picture even in a sunlit room. Running at the world's quietest audible noise of 28/24 dB (normal/economic mode), this projector has a lamp life of 4000 hours.

The CP200 and the MP611 are available at prices of Rs 75,000 and Rs 56,000 (plus taxes) respectively.
