Build & Design
The MPIO FG100 is designed like a mini version of the really old stereo players. It is bulky and its dimensions will make sure it does feel that way; 31(W) x 82(H) x 28.5(D)/mm. The player, being bulky, feels good to hold as in there isn't much of a chance that it will slip from your hands. The player is light when considered without a battery else it weighs around 50grams. The body of the player is built to withstand quite a bit and when held with a firm grip doesn't give out any creaky noises. There is an OLED screen with a display of 4 lines.

The player has a Play/Stop button on the left of the screen and on the right a joystick with 5 functions and a volume jog-dial around the joystick. It has two extra buttons on the top and the standard mini-USB in the center of the two. The left is the Rec hotkey and a hold switch while on the right of the USB port is the Function button. The Function button helps switch between the FM Tuner and the MP3 playback function of the player.

The rear of the player houses a AA battery and on the left side of the player is the Line-In and stereo port to connect your earphones. The Play/Stop button also doubles as a Power ON/OFF and has a red color ring, which keeps bleeping whenever the player is in use.
