USB flash drives have entered our lives just like TV; we thought we didn't need them, and then we just couldn't live without them. And as the price has come down, and the capacity and speeds have gone up, they have become extremely versatile and indispensable gadgets for countless computer users.

There are some problems associated with all USB flash drives; one is that they can and are easily misplaced no matter how many key rings or straps you attach to it. Secondly, once lost, the data on the drive can be accessed by anyone whoever finds the drive.

Of all the gadgets that could be using biometric scanners, Transcend came up with the Jet Flash 210 that is a USB flash drive that has an in-built finger print scanner. This restricted-access ensures complete data protection even if u lose (not that you should) the drive. The scanner allows only the owner of the authorized digit (finger) to access the protected files on the device.

Reading this, you may think that the drive would be huge and uncomfortable to carry around. But the tinker tanks at Transcend have managed to give a biometric scanner and 1 GB storage space in a rectangular case that measures just 70 mm x 23 mm x 11 mm and weighs a mere 15 grams.

Bundle

Transcend JetFlash 210 1 GB USB Flash Drive.

Neck Strap.

Software CD.

Windows 98 is crap and outdated in this 21st century in the sense that even Windows 2000 is getting obsolete these days and people prefer only a minimum of Windows XP Home or Professional Version that too Service Pack 4.

just wondering how many times this kind of question is asked by many viewers ( ha! this leads to a suggestion for TT that they should put the price in the first page/or put a pulldown menu header "price/specs" or so ) . have nice time.

I guess the page navigation dropdown is too small for a new user. How about some big colourful buttons?
