Story Line

The game picks up the thread of the plot from the previous installment, NFS Most Wanted. You are seen driving around in your BMW that you won from Razr. As you enter your old playground, Palmont city, you are reminded of the last race you took part in. That race was the reason for you to leave the city and run away. The same old story follows, you have unfinished business; a pissed ex-girlfriend and loads of races to win to balance your act.

The story isn't all that compelling, but it won't put you to sleep either. I guess I am just fed up of proving myself to someone in every NFS games. But you will enjoy the game, courtesy to excellent presentation. Following recent tradition in the NFS series, Carbon too has great presentation, which includes babes, great soundtracks, FMV sequences, and the works.


The cut scenes are amusing at times, but they change according to the situation. I mean, when you are about to encounter a boss; the boss video will show you he/she means business. Firstly the game is like moving graffiti, by that I don't mean it's random and pointless. I mean, it's vibrant and appealing; it's uniquely presented with a lot of color. The cut scenes are a good mix and give out the right message; they add more character to the game. There is no doubt that you will enjoy game's presentation, and it will help you stay hooked to the game.


The game is very much like the movie Tokyo Drift, in fact; it's a little too similar. The city is divided into many zones, each owned by different gangs. You have to win races, earn respect, and win more money. The more you win; the more of the city you control. That's how simple it is, win races, win money, and win the girl. why are the screenshots here are not looking as i have on my Pc. the review's system look a bit decent though, are these screens taken on the config given above? played this game last year on my 7600gt but it looked better

hi ,I own yhis game on PS2 I like it because it has more cool cars than MW and i like the night time MW had day time which was boring the game is too short but fun because i like to know the end of the story pretty soon the graphics were same as MW but had little more details than MW (in PS2)......

Its a good game, but was not having much stunts like most wanted it was quite simply. try to put more stunts and more features. The concept of crew was good.

NFS Carbon is a good game...though highly demanding on system resources... the career mode gets completed too fast!!! and we get cops only if we demand it

this is an awesome game if u play it after playin MS then u may not like it as much as MW but still its a very good game with new ideas n races comin into it.Yes NFS series somtimes does gets monotonous but atill its the best game with a solid story background......Play it before u jump to conclusions abt this game

The game is way too short, a friend completed it in 7 hours flat!!! and the graphics are definitely not worth the toll they put on the system I have a 7600 GT and I must say the game was lagging a bit on highest settings)

hell man i kinda liked the nfs most wanted better.... i am completely bored... moreover i find this darius guy to be a crap. i mean i feel do i have to finish this crappy game???i guess that remains my choice but i expected ea sports to come up with a better game and not a clubbed undergound2 and most wanted version

NFSC is highly demanding for no good reasons. The graphics are not that good, it features "Depth of Field" but then glooming and HDR which were there in MW are not in this. It looks low than MW in terms of graphics at some places. I personally think the only problem with the game is that its uselessly demanding.

I am annoyed with this review , no offense but please elaborate if you writing a critic on a game or a review , *different prespectives* and yeah you try to get the SP(single player) experience layed out but the craziest part of this game is the quick online search and play mode.Ea has refined its multiplayer system to provide lag free fun in their kool pursuit tag game modes . so please play attention to the fun elements before you post stuff . I think he means the rig that he used to test it (the AMD rig with the 6800GT gfx card). This is not system requirements.

Judging by the screenshots, graphics don't look too good, but lets not forget the reviewer was playing them on medium settings.... Anyway, if this game had been using DX10, it would take God's own system to run it :O
