Intex Technologies has launched its UFD 512 Slim, which as the name suggests, is counted one of the world's thinnest multipurpose 512 MB USB disks.
The tiny disk, which measures 32x24 mm, and which is only about 2.1mm thick, can be easily stored in a user's wallet.
The UFD 512 Slim is termed as "3C" card due to its use as a traditional USB disk, MMC/SD card, and mobile/PDA card.
With USB 2.0 speed, the disk offers high storage, download, and transfer multimedia solutions for the young and the restless - those who constantly want more out of their gadgets and gizmos, including PCs, mobiles, digicams, DVD players, and so on.
Users can directly transfer or copy photos, MP3 songs, and videos to this device, and experience the same on their PCs or mobile phones.
Commenting on the device, Shailendra Jha, product manager, Intex Technologies, said, "After introducing USB Flash Drives, this is a high-performance offering from Intex for the USB market. Also, MMC cards are gradually being replaced by thinner disks with various features. Intex UFD 512 Slim is a complete package for mobile storage and multimedia solutions. We expect customers to be enthused with this 512 MB version, and plan to introduce 1GB and 2 GB variants soon."
