Recently, Epson launched the EMP-TWD3, the first combo projector to feature a built-in DVD player with integrated stereo speakers from the company.

Regarded as the ultimate home projector by the company, the EMP-TWD3, with cubical form factor, is based on the all-in-one home entertainment concept. It comes with minimalist design, which means the user has to just connect the power supply, and the projector is on.

Interestingly, the projector integrates an optical disc player that can play multiple video and audio formats, including DVD, video CD, super video CD; and CDs, MP3s, and WMA files respectively. The player can also read JPEG images, and can present them as slide shows.

Additionally, the EMP-TWD3 gives optimal sound reproduction with the two dynamic 10W speakers. It also supports a quick start-up time of 8 seconds, and cooling time of 9 seconds.

Apart from all this, the EMP-TWD3 has several ports that enable the user to connect external devices such as laptops, and media devices such as tuners. It is fitted with a short focus lens capable of a 1.5X wide zoom, so it fits easily into smaller living spaces. In addition, the 1200 ANSI lumens, a high 1000:1 contrast ratio, and E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimise Reflection Lamp) eliminates the need to dim lights in the room.

With the Epson Cinema Filter, the projector automatically applies optical adjustments for precise colour reproduction. Using the vertical and horizontal lens shift function, images can be shifted without any distortion.

The aesthetically appealing EMP-TWD3 is available at an affordable Rs 99,400 MRP.
