The Camera
The Kodak EasyShare V570 is a compact-sized digital camera offering a resolution of 5 Megapixels. With its smooth design and user-friendly interface, it aims at a broad group of consumers.

For a dual lens camera, we expected the V570 to be more than 101x49.8 x20.4 mm (WxHxD) that it is. Weighing 125 grams, the Kodak EasyShare V570 is a compact-sized digital camera offering a resolution of 5 Megapixels. The smooth design will definitely attract a lot of people from the total consumer spectrum.
In addition to the 3x optical zoom lens, which has a focal range of 39 - 117mm (equivalent of a 35mm camera), Kodak has integrated an extra wide-angle lens (23mm). As a result, the V570 covers a range of 23 - 117mm zoom, packaged in an ultra-compact camera. The available range means the V570 is, theoretically, an all-round digital camera suitable for landscape images as well as family portraits.
Layout and Design
The V570 looks like any other small and stylish camera with a 5.0 MP image resolution. But the moment, the front cover slides in (the sound of which reminds me of the Starship Enterprise) revealing the dual-lenses, you just wanna stop. Stop and look at the marvelous piece of hardware in your hand again and again.
Although the camera has a 3X optical zoom, no lens slide out. But, that's not something we haven't seen before. Both the lenses have folded optics with individual 5.0 MP sensors. The V570's top lens is wide angle, fixed at 23mm, and the bottom lens is a 39-117mm zoom.

Apart from the Capture button, the top of the camera has an ON/OFF switch as well as the quick access buttons to switch to Movie Mode, Scene Modes, and Favorites. The back of the camera houses a 2.5-inch LCD screen and neatly placed and labeled buttons and joystick. On the right, concealed behind a metal polished strip is the SD/MMC card slot and charger input.
