From the guys who gave us the famous DVD Decrypter, LightningUK, we have a sort of extension of the same in the form of ImgBurn.

Just over 1 MB in size, Support for almost all image formats, Low Memory and Processor Usage, Fast, FREE.

Advanced options might scare the average user, Cannot burn files and folder directly.

Our previous efforts to find a simple, small and free alternative to Nero led us to CDBurnerXP Pro 3.5; this time, our focus on image burning software alternatives gave us the ImgBurn v.2.1.0.0

From the guys who gave us the famous DVD Decrypter, LightningUK, we have a sort of extension of the same in the form of ImgBurn. ImgBurn is a one megabyte (1 MB) image burning tool that promises to occupy as little space in the RAM as it does on the HDD. ImgBurn can write most types of CD/DVD images and it supports all the latest writers (including booktype/bitsetting on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony). You can even use ImgBurn to erase/format your rewritable media.

ImgBurn can burn your DVD-Video double layer images using the user-commanded layer break functionality you've specified in the IFO files, but it can also calculate the best place for you to save you the trouble.

Its an excellent product. Cant beleive dat its free. Using it for sometime & i'll continue 2 do so. Nero 7 uses 100% CPU while burning while imgburn uses arnd 10% Gr8888 software
