Sulekha.com has launched a new and improved version of its industry-leading Classifieds service catering to Indians world-wide.

The latest version of Classifieds sports additional features like IP-targeting for better relevance, meta-tags, and attribute-driven search, in addition to improved overall ease of use and navigation.

Speaking at the occasion, Satya Prabhakar, chief executive officer, Sulekha.com, said, "This is a key step in the evolution of Sulekha.com, which remains the most popular personalized marketplace for Indians to trade products and services in 25 cities."

The company says that with the new version of Classifieds, searching for advertisements will become faster and more flexible, thanks to the multiple search routes, and an option to filter advertisement listings according to one's needs. Users can also set alerts for specific products or services. And, when an advertisement matching users' requirements is posted, users would be intimated by an email or SMS alert.

Talking about the latest version, Sreenivasan, vice-president - product development, Sulekha.com, said, "The new version of Classifieds has been built with in-depth analysis and understanding of customer behavior and feedback responses that we have obtained over the years. With the new version, we will be able to meet the growing demands more effectively."

The new Sulekha.com Classifieds provide 11 broad sections divided into 122 sub-categories, with a database of over two lakh listings. With the latest version, users can search for and access information ranging from details about apartments/flats, real estate services, commercial and office space, buying and selling of two/four wheelers, florists, Astrology/Numerology/Vaastu, child and elderly care, food and restaurants, et al.
