Reliance Communications has announced the launch of "Reliance STD Call", which would enable Reliance Communications customers to make STD calls at Re.1 per minute.
The company said that the new tariff would be applicable for all post-paid and pre-paid customers of mobile and fixed wireless subscribers of Reliance Communications.
In a statement, S P Shukla, president - Personal Business, Reliance Communications, said, "Reliance Communications endeavors to provide the best value proposition to its customers at the most attractive tariffs. The launch of Reliance STD Card would enable our more than 2.6 crore subscribers to make long distance calls to any network in the country at Re.1 per minute."
The new tariff is being introduced with a view to cater to heavy STD users and is applicable on Rs.675 denomination calling card. And with a flat call rate of Re.1 per minute, the new card will offer 601 minutes that can be finished over a period of 30 days and an additional 15 day roll-over period.
Moreover, the 601 minutes can be used anytime, anywhere to any phone in India by any subscriber of Reliance Communications, pre-and-post-paid as well as mobile or fixed.
Rs.675 is too hign, what if user has not much usage. This deal couldn't be compared with BSNL deal. Reliance is the biggest corporate thief among all mobile service providers in India.
reliance has a poor connectivity and frequent call drop. Rs. 675 for a month's time is not required by anybody whether you provide free std in night. validity period for six months / one year may be useful.
what is the use of this card when i make std calls worth Rs.200 only that two when i am paying rs.2.40 per minute for std. calls. reliance should reduce the voucher price.
