Features
About the X820, tell someone the model number and everyone will leave you and part ways. Tell them that it's the Samsung slim phone or that it's the phone which has Johnny advertising it, even the chicks will be keen on having a look.

Okay, let's kick off the features. The slimmest phone is just 113 x 50 x 6.9 mm in dimensions; leave alone the others, only the 6.9mm thickness should matter. The phone weighs 66 grams; it's so light that you won't know where it is on you.




Now being so slim isn't the only virtue; it has a lot bundled within itself; now that's Samsung for you. The phone, even being so slim, has a 2.0 MP camera fitted behind at the top, which is absurdly the most bulky part of the phone. The phone is a bit wider just as noticed in the RAZR; because of this wideness, the phone has ended up having a widescreen. The screen basically is a 256K TFT with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels and 35 x 28 mm in size. The screen quality is simply brilliant. The phone has Bluetooth 2.0 support and an A2DP profile for Stereo Bluetooth.

Beware of this phone! It is one of the sexiest looking phones in the market, but unfortunately it is probably also the most fragile. Mine broke into two pieces in my pocket at the slighest pressure. I had no ccomplaints about it while it worked. But Rs. 14k is too much to pay for just a month of envious stares from your neighbours!

If, the lengh of Key pad reduces it will be easy n comfotable to operate, instead 7 key vertically thnik of keeping 6 in row. However, the width can be increased. the other featchers are alike 700. As no model is available with 4 key in wodth..it shall be a successful. further if provided extra battery provision it will be useful. back up should be further more time

Nice review Mr. Barretto, though I would like to correct you on a couple of points. First it has a 262K color screen and secondly the video is stored in 352 x 288 res CIF. The phone is not that fragile as experienced by some of my friends here, may be they just wanna shift blame.The OS is great and not at all sluggish as compared to the nokias and SEs. Keys though thin are very smooth to operate. The glitches are no profiles, no ringtone vibrator combo and no fm. True there is no expansion slot but one can do without the fm and expansion slot given with 80 MB internal memo. A good buy altogether.

Dear Sailesh, you are right as far as the details you have given except for that snide comment about people wanting to shift blame and the phone being NOT SO FRAGILE. The phone is very fragile and cannot take the least bit of pressure at the point between the screen and the keys. Samsung should have thought of putting a metal frame to suuport this sleek body and I should have considered this before buying the phone. BTW, why do I get this creepy feeling that you for Samsung??!

the phone may look really slim and sexy but the keypad is not easy to operate for people with large fingers. Also, the phone's OS seems to be a bit sluggish.
