    At an event held in Mumbai today, Symantec announced the launch of "Norton AntiVirus 2007" and "Norton Internet Security 2007".

At an event held in Mumbai today, Symantec announced the launch of "Norton AntiVirus 2007" and "Norton Internet Security 2007".

The company says that both these products are leading security applications that have been enhanced in technology and performance to protect users from today's online threats.

"Norton AntiVirus 2007" is a proven and trusted solution that gives consumers advanced protection against viruses, spyware, and related risks. On the other hand, "Norton Internet Security 2007" is a powerful security suite that includes the antivirus and and antispyware protection of 'Norton AntiVirus,' and safeguards against the latest online dangers by providing sophisticated new phishing protection, an enhanced firewall, and defense against software vulnerabilities.

Speaking on the occasion, David Hall, marketing manager - regional consumer product, Symantec, said, "Over the past year, the Internet threat landscape has taken a dramatic turn. In addition, security vulnerabilities in operating systems and applications are being discovered and exploited more rapidly than ever. And Symantec is committed to delivering proven products that help users stay ahead of this changing landscape."

Hah.. Symantec Products suck. Especially Norton Antivirus.. Its a Resourse Hogger... Cant Clean Any Viruses..Only Deletes the infected files or Quarentines them... I had Norton 2006... I even tried its Internet Security.. Equally Bad & More heavy on the System... Only product that i find Strictly Ok from Symantec is Norton Partition Magic... I personally Feel Avast Professional Edition Or AVG are Way better Than Norton.
