Adding a dash of spice to the ongoing India-Australia-West Indies Cricket Series, Spice Telecom has announced the "Spice Cricket Champions" Quiz Contest exclusively for its subscribers in Punjab.
To participate, Spice subscribers need to dial IVR 555 at the applicable rate of Rs 6 per minute. The contest tests cricket buffs on their 'cricketing wits'. Contestants stand to increase their chances of winning by answering maximum number of questions.
Open to Punjab-based Spice subscribers till Oct 2, 2006, the contest results will be announced thereafter, wherein the top three scorers will be declared winners, and will get to experience the exotic locales of Manali or Mussorie for two days and three nights free-of-charge.
Additionally, there are many other options for Spice subscribers to get the latest low-down on ongoing matches.
They can either dial *555*5# to find out scores, the charges being Rs 3 per request; or they can dial 555 to listen to live updates at charges of Rs 6 per minute. Alternatively, they can SMS to 555 to get live updates on their mobile phones; or simply access the Spice GPRS platform for cricket updates.
