Acer is showcasing the most popular models of their entire product line at a special "Acer Live Experience Zone" at the Bangalore Domestic Airport - Departure lounge, which is manned by specially trained Acer representatives.
On display are the Aspire E500 Media Centre Desktop PC, the Ultra Portable Travel Mate 3012, and the extremely popular Aspire 5502 Notebooks. The Acer Zone will also showcase the company s 19- inch TFT monitors, as also their PD 115 Projector. Customers will get hands-on experience for all products, and their questions will be answered extensively by the trained representatives of the company. The first-of-its-kind in the country, Acer is looking at extending this concept to other major airports across-the-country.
S Rajendran, general manager - sales & marketing, mobility & display products group, Acer India, said, "The Acer Live Experience Zone at the Bangalore Airport is an ideal platform for us to connect with our customers, especially the frequent travelers who might be looking at a product such as our Ultra portable Notebook offering. Located inside the airport in the departure lounge, we hope to be able to reach-out and engage our customers' interest, and showcase some of our most popular models in the Notebook and Desktop space. For the first time, there will also be specially trained personnel at hand to answer customer queries."
Targeted at business travelers, executives, and students flying out of Bangalore, customers will get to experience live product demos; get free takeaways; participate in spot quizzes; and make spot bookings on any of Acer's products. An Acer representative in their city will get-in-touch with them as standard follow-up procedure.
