In my quest for exploring the Xbox 360, I got my hands on the exceptional Project Gotham Racing 3. This is a very popular franchise on the Xbox and has gained fame as one of the best arcade racing games. The latest offering was amongst the first few games to be released on the 360, here's my first hand experience.
Blazing Beauty
When it comes to arcade racing, there are quite a few options, so what makes PGR a worth option??? Let's see. There is a huge selection of cars, many different location and cities, the most awesome graphics, and one of the most amazing multiplayer experiences. Well, I guess I have made my candid-self very clear that this is one brilliant racing game.

When I started playing the PGR3, the first thing that struck me was the visual appeal. The game includes 80 licensed cars from manufactures like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Dodge. These cars have been selected on the basis of their ability to reach speeds up to 170, as the games slogan states "Life begins at 170." These are highly detailed cars with loads of work put into them by the developers. Out of the total 80 cars 71 are available whereas the remaining have to be unlocked. There are 5 car classes in PGR3, ranging from A to E. apart from the cars, there are 5 cities to roam around in the game, like Tokyo, Las Vegas, and London.

This is primarily an arcade game, but that doesn't mean this is a bang-and-reverse type. This game is renowned for its multiplayer mode and you need to master the game to compete with the best. The car control is fabulous and it fully satisfies the racing enthusiast in you. The damage physics in PGR3 have been toned down, as compared to the earlier games in the franchise.
