It seems it's raining slim cameras this season and world is getting slimmer. Digital cameras have undergone a lot of changes since they have been launched.

But the most significant of them is the fact that digicams have had a make-over. They seem to have shed a lot of fat from their early days (when the boxy look was considered hip; (pun not intended) to the new age versions i.e. being smooth, suave, and slim look of the same.

Cashing in on this trend, Nikon launched another in a series of slim cameras, the S6.

Love at first sight

The sculpted wavy design of the S6 sure blew me away. It's a pleasure just to look at it. With dimensions measuring 100.5 x 60 x 21mm and weighing around 140 grams, (although a tad little bigger and five grams heavier than the S5) it's compact and lightweight as well.
