Bose says SoundDock adds a whole new meaning to iPod listening, besides freeing users from the tyranny of earbuds.
The new glossy Black version is intended to complement darker-hued iPods, as also add a certain sophistication to the home d cor.
Prominent features of the Black SoundDock system include Bose s proprietary acoustic design that facilitates rich, full sound from a relatively small silhouette; docking cradle that holds and automatically charges the iPod, irrespective of whether it is playing or not; compatibility with the iPod, the iPod Mini, the iPod Nano, the iPod with color display, and the video iPod; and infrared remote control that controls the system, as well as basic iPod functions from across-the-room.
According to the company, its SoundDock seamlessly integrates with, and simultaneously recharges users' iPods, as they play their favourite numbers.
The high-gloss Black SoundDock is immediately available along with a portable carry case for a RRP of around Rs 15,900.
