Standing 41mm tall and weighing 2.2 kilograms, the Perfection V10 qualifies as the slimmest matrix CCD scanner in Epson's entire range of home and professional scanners.
Thanks to the hinge design, the scanner's lid can be opened up to 180 degrees, making for easy scanning of even the bulkiest books and encyclopaedias.
With a stylish silver casing, the scanner features an optical resolution of 3200dpi as also a 48-bit color depth.
The scanner bundles Epson's Easy Photo Fix software, which uses color restoration technology to allow faded photographs to be restored at the click of a mouse. The software facilitates easy adjustment of appearance of documents and photographs. With the built-in backlight correction function, the software identifies backlight conditions, and corrects brightness, sharpness, color saturation, and color balance of images. The digital dust correction feature of the software helps automatic detection and removal of dust specks from scanned photographs.
