Razer is one of the first companies to invent the term "gaming mice." It all started with Boomslang way back in the year 1999. They went bankrupt after some time and bounced back soon, with a new mechanical mouse 'Boomer'. But, mechanical mice became totally outdated and somewhat not preferred for gaming. They released their first optical mouse named 'Viper'. Ever since, they are riding on the high waves of success. Soon, the Viper got replaced with the Diamondback, and they also released their first laser mouse known as 'Copperhead'. One interesting thing to note is that Razer selects different kind of snake's names for their mice. More recently, they also have unveiled other gaming products such as keyboards and headphones.
The Razer Copperhead is available in different kind of colors. First, it is available in three lighted color options; Tempest Blue, Anarchy Red, and Chaos Green. The pictures will do more talking.

Mouse Design and Ergonomics
The Razer Copperhead is a sleek looking mouse which is quite low in height (compared to Logitech's G5), slim, and rather long in length (almost 5 inches.) It will be best suited for people with medium to large hands. The lightweight and symmetrical designed body makes it a mouse that's controlled more by wrist rather than moving the whole arm around ( as in the case of G5 and Ergo 525.) The symmetrical design allows both righties and lefties to play, unlike in G5 and Ergo 525, which have been designed only for righties.

It features smooth feet known as Zero-Acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet. It was able to glide over both hard surface and cloth surface. Some may not like the feel of these extra smooth feet. However, it is just a question of getting used to it.
