HCL Infosystems has reportedly launched a personal computer (PC) for the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and ITES sectors. The company claims its PC is aimed at reducing infrastructure cost for the fast-growing BPO and ITES sector.
The HCL BPO PC has been designed and developed at HCL Labs, and according to the company, will enable the operation of one PC in two securely isolated work environments, thereby reducing IT spending per seat, as also infrastructure cost of a BPO center.
The new PC is said to allow remote management, enabling user logs as well as remote trouble-shooting.
