Hewlett-Packard (HP) India has tied-up with Rashi Peripherals, a leading distributor, for the distribution of HP TFT monitors in the country. Along with this announcement, the company has introduced nine new display options.

HP TFTs come with a slim-line look, and features such as height-adjustment, tilt, and swivel, at competitive prices. The monitors have a viewable image area varying from 15-inch to 24-inch, typical brightness level varying from 250 to 300 units, and graphics with a maximum 1280 X 1024 resolution. The TFT monitors also offer wide-viewing angles that enable monitor viewing from various positions, without compromising on image quality.

Rashi Peripherals will initially carry selected HP TFT displays that may be differentiated on account of their design, picture clarity, focus, higher brightness and contrast ratios, and pixel-by-pixel clarity.

Sameer Mathur, head - solutions partner organization, HP India, said, "We are glad to partner with Rashi Peripherals for the distribution of our award-winning HP TFT monitors. This is a part of HP s ongoing endeavor to provide technologically the best, plus cost-efficient solutions to our customers across the nation."

Commenting on the tie-up, Rajesh Goenka, division head, Rashi Peripherals, said, "HP is a leading name, world-wide, and in the country. HP has now decided to focus on the component and retail segment. Rashi, along with its reach and penetration in B, C, and D Class cities, is all set to take HP LCD TFT numero-uno position in this segment in India."

Additional features of HP TFT monitors include plug-and-play options, on-screen-display control buttons, quick-release detachable base, and the HP Display LiteSaver. Optional features are the HP Flat Panel Speaker Bar that can be attached to the monitors, providing full audio support; external headphone jack; etc.

According to HP, its TFT monitors are designed to fit seamlessly with HP desktop PCs, notebooks, and workstations, and ensure quick deployment, minimal ongoing maintenance, and worry-free ownership.
