Acer India has announced a "Cash Back" offer on its notebooks for a limited period of time. As per the offer, anyone buying an Acer Laptop will earn anywhere between Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000, depending on the notebook model purchased.
The "Cash Back" offer is targeted at Home or SOHO users, and working professionals looking for a one-time purchase. The offer is available at all Acer-registered retail and channel outlets, and will afford customers a cash back option or a discount price that can be claimed from Acer.
On offer is the Celeron TM 2400, at an unbeatable price of Rs 27,999, besides the Centrino model Aspire 1641 that Acer is offering for Rs 42,499. The Aspire 1641 comes bundled with DVD Writer, Grid Vista, etc. This is coupled with Acer's ongoing scheme, in association with Reliance India Mobile that offers customers a free LG color speaker phone worth Rs 4,499 and free activation, along with 3 months RConnect internet usage on the purchase of any Acer Notebook.
S Rajendran, general manager - sales and marketing, mobility and display products group, Acer India, said, "Through the various offers in the market for our notebooks, we are attempting to give our customers every advantage from associating with Acer. We have adopted the 'bottom of the pyramid' strategy by making notebooks available to everyone at the right price."
In a related development, Acer has come up with another offer viz a zero-percent finance scheme in association with Bajaj Finance. According to this scheme, Acer will provide consumers across the country a six-month EMI, and zero percent interest option on its entire range of notebooks and desktops. Through this scheme, Acer hopes to enhance PC penetration, as also empower students and first-time buyers across the country with access to the latest in technology. This particular offer is available to consumers through the month of June.
