Spice Telecom Launches MyTunes

Spice Telecom has announced the launch of MyTunes Color Ring Back tones for its subscribers. The Color Ring Back tones service allows subscribers to customize their Ring Back tones from a wide selection of songs, personalized messages, and greetings; thereby replacing the monotonous ring tone a caller otherwise hears.
Subscribers may call 678 to activate the Spice MyTunes service, which is available for a monthly rental of Rs 30. Alternately, the Spice MyTunes service can be activated by sending an SMS saying "REG MT" to 678, or you can log on to www.spicetele.com.
To download the Spice MyTunes Ring Back tunes or messages, send an SMS saying "MT (Tune Code)" to 678, and choose a specific tune via SMS by sending a text message saying "MT Tune Code MSISDN" to 678 (for example, "MT 123456 followed by the mobile number"), or log on to www.spicetele.com.
Commenting on the new service, Madhukar Parthasarathy, senior manager - marketing, Spice Telecom, said, "Spice has always been an innovative company, creating products and services with a difference. We have been late in launching caller tunes, but we have added so much of innovation and value ads to the service that it cannot be compared to the already existing services of a similar kind."
"You can choose from over ten thousand songs. We have created interesting categories like item tunes, sentimental tunes, party tunes, shradha tunes, dil to dil tunes, to cater to different needs at different times of the day. We have also customized Spice MyTunes to offer different songs to specific callers. You get download alerts with the details of the song downloaded and the amount to be paid as soon as you download a song. A song can be downloaded for Rs 10," Parthasarathy said.
Spice MyTunes incorporates a special feature which is available exclusively with Spice Telecom, namely the opportunity to set tunes according to the mood of the day.
Spice MyTunes allows packaged downloads, under which a subscriber can download a collection of up to 15 songs at a time, and specify different song settings. Spice also offers a 'Top 10' list, which includes the latest regional, national, and international hit songs.
