Acer, a big name in computers world-wide, plans to update the Aspire 17-inch laptops. The 9400 has an Intel Pentium M processor, dual-channel DDR 2 SDRAM, NVidia GeForce Go 7300 graphics accelerator with 64MB of GDDR2 video memory, 120 GB of hard disk space and multi-format DVD writers.

The top-of-the-line gets a 1.3-megapixel webcam. No pricing information is available at this moment.

I have bought DELL Inspiron E1405. Configuration - Intel Dual Core 1.66G Processor, 1 GB RAM, 14.1 inch white monitor, 80GB HD, 8x CD Burner/DVD Burner. Price is $751.00 with tax, which will cost about Rs 33000.00 in Indian Rupee.

Pentium-M based Acer 9400 series 17 inch TFT( 9402 ) is available from US $ 929 onwards in US ( app. Rs. 42k), I think the newly released 9400 is the model based on Core Duo Processor with a dedicated graphics processor, which will be in range of 1600 US $. in your dreams dude!!!! reasons? its 17 inch got 1.3mp webcam good ram memory better hdd for 50k you get acer 4152( offricialy n4150 series. thats what i have with 512 ddr2 ram)

Whilst in Dubai I saw 2.0 ++ Ghz based laptops in Acer, whereas in India with such a big market we do not have this range
