According to the company after registering phenomenal headway post opening their first BenQ IT Zone in Delhi, plans are in the offing to conquer a strong footprint in the province of retail across pan-India.
Ish Bawa, head - marcom, BenQ India, said, "We thought that India is not actually ready for a concept like BenQ Zone, but the tremendous response we have received from our Delhi Zone has been an eye-opener. People are no more stuck to only basic models of 15-inch or 17-inch but also high-end models with multimedia abilities and high-end gaming PCs. They walk in and specifically ask for a particular requirement, and we now have a promoter who guides the customers to get the right requirement for their specific demands."
"The 20-inch model is fast moving specially as a substitute for the TV and also for high-end gaming. The customers can pick and choose after experiencing the feel at the store," Bawa said.
BenQ Zone is intended to be a platform to present the Hi-tech and Hi-touch IT products. It will showcase uniquely designed BenQ offerings such as LCD Monitors, Joybooks, keyboards and Optical Mice. There are plans to have an audio-visual room that will enable customers to have a home cinema kind of experience through a series of BenQ projectors installed in the room.
