Zenith Forays into LCD Monitors

Riding on the success of its laptops, Zenith Computers has announced its foray into the manufacture and delivery of 15-inch and 17-inch LCD monitors for desktops and laptops.
The mounting usage of LCD Displays in laptops, mobile phones, signages, public announcement systems, and televisions has encouraged Zenith to delve into the realm of LCD Monitors as a stand-alone product.
As per industry estimates, the LCD market share is expected to increase from 14 percent in 2005 to around 22 percent in 2008.
Besides, Zenith is looking at LCD monitors as a major revenue earner in addition to its other high-value computing products.
Raj Saraf, chairman and managing director, Zenith Computers, said, "Zenith's LCD Displays are 'glass-protected' and will provide long-term value to customers. We keep the Indian customer in mind while designing and manufacturing high-end products. It is our constant endeavor to provide customers with products of high quality and durability, specifically tailored to suit the Indian environment."
"We are immensely proud that an Indian PC Company has been appreciated for its efforts in global quality, value-for-money, and customer service. Zenith Computers headquartered in Mumbai is 25-years old, and has a turnover of approximately Rs 3-billion. The company has around 800 employees spread across 15 offices in the country.
