i have seen almost all models, but i think viewsonic 17" flat-E72fsb is best, especially it looks very good, like iMac

ViewSonic is simply the best CRT available in INDIA. ARTICULARLY E-72F+SB 17" PERFECT FLAT CRT AND E-96F+SB 19" PERFECT FLAT CRT, EVEN THE LOOK IS JUST DESIGNER LOOK. CONTRAST IS TOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't directly say like ViewSonic is the best in all respects. It has a bad radiation effect. You are making the owner of other CRT monitors feel sad. You know LGs are the most environment friendly monitor even though it has somewhat less colour quality.

i had lg monitor earlier lg 17 " flatron it shows all kind of fringe patterns at 800 600 resolution even there mechanic admitted that it was a problem with all lg monitors at lower resolution has moire problem. viewsonic is top brand slightly expensive but ten times better than samsung and lg. colours are natural dont bleed. contrast is superb u dont need ultra brightness to make everything clear. hats off to viewsonic always the preffered brand for graphics professionals.

Why dont you ever put SONY. Last time I checked their flat panels, 17 inch costed some 15250 in Ritchie Street, Chennai.
